Contractors are required to be licensed in all localities where they work and carry enough bonding and insurance per Washington State requirements. In the State of Washington General Contractors must maintain a $12,000.00 bond. Specialty Contractors (plumbing, painter, roofer, etc.) must maintain a $6,000.00 bond. Also all registered Contractors must carry general liability insurance of $50,000.00 property damage and $200,000.00 public liability.

A good job begins with a good design. We furnish you a floor plan with the estimate and a complete set of construction drawings upon commitment.

10. How will my project be supervised?
Supervision of a company project is subject to the depth of experience of their personnel. At Classic Construction Inc. a Lead Carpenter is assigned to every job and he will be there from the start to the finish.
11. Will someone be working on my project everyday?
With today's trend of relying more on Trade Contractors and less on employees, this question becomes very important. Almost all Companies use Trade Contractors to some degree. It is important for you know how this will impact your project.
12. What happens to you if your Contractor gets ill or becomes disabled?
Although the size of the company does not necessarily insure a quality job, you want to be sure the firm has enough depth to successfully complete your project in a timely manner.
13. What insurance do you carry to protect me in case an accident occurs?
If someone gets hurt on the job and it can happen, you may have to pay for that workman's injuries and support unless your Contractor is properly insured. Request a copy of their contractors' insurance policy and make sure his coverage is adequate and up to date.
14. Do you offer financing?
